Kimiko, Terrific match against Graf at the Fed Cup and Wimbledon. Your return of serve to her forehand really had her on the ropes in the second set. By taking her serve so early you really had her off balance. I haven't seen anyone else ever employ that strategy. Best of luck in future matches!

*Great* webpage! I was duly impressed by Kimiko's play at Wimbledon--it's a shame that the Graf semi was suspended, because we could have seen a new champion. And kudos to Yuko's photography, too. She sent me some Michael Chang photos and they are fabulous. Another interesting fact about Kimiko that some fans might not know is that she plays with some small needles in one of her upper arms, for acupuncture therapy.

I have been a big fan of Kimiko's ever since she beat Gabriela Sabatini at Lipton, coming back down from 1-6, 1-5 to win. She played phenominal tennis against Graf in the semis at Winbledon. Kimiko Date really should have won over Steffi at Wimbledon. It really was not to her advantage that the game was suspended. Ironically, Graf won the next day. It is too bad for Kimiko, but we still are here for you. You played your best and we are proud of you.

Kimiko keeps on beating Conchita since 1993 NSW OPEN in Sydney.(Forget about Evert Cup) Now it's Mary's go to be out of our sight!!!!! Gee! I didn't know about this page. It's profetionaly done.Isn't this great! Kimiko has just beaten the opponent in Wimbledon for 3rd round. I am in Sydney and go to NSW Open every year to watch Kimiko. That was pity that I couldn't see her at Flinders Park when I went down to Melbourne but I am sure Kimiko will do well this time in Wimbledon.
