EBC arranged the 1st ever “EBC Briefing” seminar on Digital Economy and the regulation on this field. Despite the current Coronavirus crisis, there was almost 100 people present. EU Ambassador, Ms. Patricia Flor, gave an opening speech underlining the importance of the Digital Economy. After this  Mr. Michael Mroczek, president of the EBC Board,  gave an introduction on the recent changes to the European Business Council (new governance, new logo, new team and new projects) and after this the event continued with two panels with representatives from different industry segments discussing and presenting how they have changed or are changing to meet and prosper from the new challenges and possibilities that digitalization and the digital economy offer.
