The traditional FCCJ Shinnenkai (New Year’s) Party was this time held at the FCCJ office in Shimomeguro. This is also the home office of the Executive Director Clas Bystedt who is retiring at the end of the current fiscal year on 31 March 2019, when the FCCJ Office will move to the Embassy of Finland.
While being a shinnenkai, this was also at the same time a “house cooling party” and a chance to find out how the FCCJ has operated for 20 years. Needless to say, many of the guests enjoyed some food and plenty of drinks (there were a lot of old bottles that needed to be emptied…).
恒例のFCCJ新年会は今回、下目黒にありますFCCJオフィスにて開催されました。このオフィスはクラス・ビューステット専務理事の自宅オフィスであり、彼は今年度末（2019年3月31日）をもってリタイア致します。その後FCCJオフィスはフィンランド大使館内に移転致します。
新年会＋「ハウスクーリングパーティ」に参加してこのFCCJオフィスがこの20年間いかに運営されたかを知るとともに、料理と沢山のドリンクを楽しむ機会でもありました(引越しの為、沢山のボトルを空にする必要があったので。。)
